  • Automatically - If you have an automated meter reader installed your meter will be read and the readings sent off automatically. You no longer need to remember to take your readings every month, its done for you. All the readings will be submitted to your online account, this means no estimated consumption and accurate invoices.
  • Online - If you have a myCorona account you can login online and submit your meter readings. You need your MPAN number, meter reading and date to submit your readings online. The website has clear instructions to guide and help you fill the form.

Automated Meter Reader

Corona Energy install automated meter readers for all their customers, free of charge and at a time best for you. Your reading is automatically taken every 30 minutes, this helps you accurately record your usage and make sure you're only paying for the energy you use. Through your online account, myCorona, you can easily analyse and spot out trends within your usage to help identify areas that you can make improvements in efficiency and therefore save yourself money. You can also predict your usage in advance by looking at your trends so you can anticipate costs to come.

If you wish to change your tenancy you need to complete the form found on their website, This then needs to be submitted to Corona Energy either via email at or by fax to 0870 242 9661. You'll also need to attach a document showing proof of the change of ownership for the premises, and this should all be submitted one month in advance and a meter reading submitted on the day you leave. There is a large amount of details to confirm so you’ll need a lot of information to hand while filling in the form.

How Much Notice do I Have to Give to Leave?

  •  You need to give them 30 days' written notice to terminate your account during the contract term which needs to be posted or emailed to Corona Energy, contact details can be found in the terms and conditions
